This month, some important facility upgrades are coming to the Palmwoods Aquatic Centre.
The facility will undergo essential maintenance work from Monday, 22 April until Saturday, 18 May, including completing much-needed lighting upgrades and earth bonding.
The works will be carried out in two phases;
Phase 1 – 22 April to 08 May.
The facility will be completely closed from Monday, 22 April until Thursday, 09 May. All classes and lessons will be cancelled. Swim school families and squad swimmers will not be charged in this period.
Phase 2 – 09 May to 17 May.
The facility will reopen on Thursday, 09 May, except for the small heated pool which will remain closed until Saturday, 18 May. All classes and lessons will resume during this period. Lessons normally conducted in the small pool will be moved to the 25m pool which will run at an increased temperature until the program pool reopens.
- Swim school families and squad swimmers will not be charged for any missed lessons.
- All memberships will be extended by the 17 days of the closure.
- All visit pass holders are invited to use our other Sunshine Coast Active facilities available at Buderim, Cotton Tree, Eumundi, Coolum, and Beerwah.
