Every gym relies on its dedicated early-bird staff, the ones who roll out of a warm bed and rock up at dawn, braving the frosty, pitch-black winter mornings day after day without fail. While the rest of the world is still hitting the snooze button, these team members are already out on the floor, prepping the equipment and setting the standard for the day ahead.
They don’t just show up to clock in; they bring the energy. This month, the focus is on highlighting the incredible staff who physically and mentally warm up the facilities with their resilient, upbeat attitudes. Their dedication is contagious, proving that a little cold weather is absolutely no match for a strong work ethic and positive outlook.
That is why, this month, the spotlight shines on our most consistent morning warriors right here in our Beerwah community—and the incredible team members who are there to welcome them at the door.
Meet Catherine
We are very fortunate to be able to work alongside Catherine every day. Catherine has been a core member of the team for 7 years now, starting her journey here at just 14 years old in Customer Service.
Now, she is the bubbly personality, happy face, and helpful hand that safely opens the facility on those cold mornings and always strives to do her best for the members of the community. She never fails to go above and beyond to help those that visit us here, and her ability to always do it in such an empathetic manner never fails to impress those of us that work alongside her.
When asked about her time at the facility, Catherine stated:
"It has been a wonderful journey seeing everyone grow alongside me all this time… I have made lifelong connections and friends that you really can't find anywhere else! I love my job here and have always loved connecting with those dedicated early morning swimmers, it motivates me to provide them with a great experience on site."
We greatly appreciate her being a part of the team and we hope that appreciation is shared by those early morning members of our community!
