As part of the Sunshine Coast Council's commitment to maintaining and improving its facilities across the region, the Council will be upgrading the equipotential bonding at the Eumundi Aquatic Centre. To enable these works to be completed safely and promptly, there will be temporary disruptions to pool availability and programs.
Important Points to Note:
- 25m Pool Closure: The outdoor 25m pool will be temporarily closed from Monday, 1 July, to Friday, 12 July 2024.
- Squad Programs: Squad programs will be transferred to Coolum Aquatic Centre during the 25m pool closure period.
- Indoor Program Pool Closure: The indoor pool will be temporarily closed from Monday, 15 July, to Friday, 19 July 2024.
- Learn to Swim Lessons: There will be no impact on Learn to Swim lessons, with classes relocated between the 25m pool and the Indoor Program Pool during the closures.
- Aquatic Memberships: Members who do not wish to access the pools during the closures can suspend their membership free of charge. Please visit reception to arrange this.
