If you have visited the Beerwah Aquatic Centre over the past few weeks, you have likely noticed a hive of activity across the grounds. It has been hard to walk through the facility without bumping into a contractor of some sort!
While it has been a busy period of maintenance, repairs, and facility upgrades, the results speak for themselves. This extensive refresh is a massive credit to our dedicated on-site team, whose high standards, attention to detail, and proactive reporting have made these improvements possible.
Upgrading our Splash Pool
As part of this wave of upgrades, our Splash Pool underwent a brief two-week closure to allow contractors to complete essential, deep-level maintenance. During this time, the team focused heavily on enhancing both the safety and quality of the space. This included detailed upkeep on the pebble crete surfaces to ensure a smoother, safer environment for little feet, alongside a comprehensive servicing of the underwater jets to keep the water flowing perfectly.
The most noticeable transformation, however, can be seen in our fan-favourite water features. The beloved Mushroom and Lizard have been carefully patched and vibrantly repainted, giving them a fantastic new lease on life. Seeing these iconic features restored to their former glory has completely revitalised the space. The dedicated treatment has transformed the entire pool area into a vibrant, highly inviting environment that is absolutely perfect for families and young swimmers.
Ready for Summer Fun
Ensuring our facilities are in top condition is our priority, and these upgrades have arrived just in time for the busy summer season. We are thrilled to offer the community a refreshed, safe, and engaging space to cool off and create memories.
With the warm weather approaching, there is no better time to experience these fantastic improvements. Grab your goggles, pack your towels, and head on down to Beerwah Aquatic Centre to enjoy the beautiful new look of our facility!
