Cotton Tree Welcomes Olympic Visitors and Upgrades Just in Time for Winter
There’s been plenty of excitement at the Cotton Tree Aquatic Centre recently, with world-class athletes and timely facility upgrades making waves in our community.
We were thrilled to welcome the Canadian Olympic swim team, who chose Cotton Tree as one of their training bases during their time in Australia. Their presence brought great energy to the pool deck and provided a unique opportunity for our regular visitors to see elite athletes in action, up close and personal. The team praised the quality of the facilities and the relaxed, welcoming vibe of our Sunshine Coast location.
In perfect timing for the cooler months ahead, we’ve also completed a major upgrade to the heating system in our 25-metre pool. The brand-new heater is now fully operational, ensuring our swimmers can stay warm and comfortable as winter approaches. Whether you're here for a few laps, swim lessons, or rehab sessions, the temperature will be just right—no matter the weather outside.
